Electrician website design
Websites for electricians, built by one person who surveys the job first, sets it out before a line is written, and hands it over working. Then shows you what it actually does — the numbers as they are, up or down.
What goes on an electrician's website
Same principle as a decent board: everything where someone can find it without hunting. These are the things I build in as standard, not extras.
- One-tap call and WhatsApp, working properly on a phone — most of your visitors are standing in a kitchen or sitting in a van
- Your own job photos, not stock — a consumer unit you actually fitted beats a catalogue image
- Accreditations visible where they matter, not buried on an About page
- Your services and the towns you cover, written the way a customer would say them
- An enquiry form that reaches you fast enough to answer the same day
- The hidden labels that tell Google and AI assistants what the business is and where it works
Domestic, commercial, or both
Most electrical firms sell to two different buyers. A homeowner wants a rewire priced and someone trustworthy in the house; a site manager wants capability, certification and a firm that turns up. Those are two different pages, not one page trying to nod at both. If you only do one, the site says so plainly and stops wasting the other kind of enquiry.
How a build runs
- Survey — what you've got, who buys it, and the work you want more of.
- Set out — every page planned before anything is built.
- Build — by hand, on your brand, fast on a phone.
- Snag — every link, every screen size, walked through with you.
- Hand over — live, working, and yours. Domain, hosting, content, access.
Homepage demo the same day. Your first reports within one to three days. A full site, built and search-ready, live within a week. After that, the monthly work: search (SEO) pages for the towns and jobs you want, and the content and labels (GEO) that get you named when someone asks an AI assistant for an electrician. We build, we publish, you approve. Already have a site? Get a free live report showing where Google and AI search mention you today.
What you can actually measure afterwards
This is the part most website sellers skip, and it is the part I care about. Tracking goes in from day one: how many people arrive, where from, what they do, and how many get in touch. You get a report in plain English — what changed, what I did, where you stand.
If the numbers go up, you will see it. If they go down, you will see that too, with what I think is causing it. A report that only ever shows good news is a sales document, not a measurement.
What I don't do
- No paid ads — this is about work you own, not rented clicks
- No promised positions. Anyone who swears you'll be top of Google is guessing with your money
- No results I can't show you working, and no numbers I can't source
Work
Toner Mechanical & Electrical had an ordinary everyday site. We rebuilt it into something that stands out in their industry and shows their high-end work and services properly.Toner Mechanical & Electrical — first paying client
Harvey was quick, concise and made a wonderful fully functional website with a bit of fun included, would definitely recommendJessica — Home Bakes by Jess
Two builds, both handed over working. I'm not going to dress that up as a portfolio of fifty — you can see what there is and judge it.
